Decorating our Christmas Tree

Jake and I were so excited to get our first Christmas tree that we went home and decorated it right away. It isn't much for the first year but we love it! We were able to buy some cute ornaments at target and will hopefully build up our collection over time. We don't have a tree skirt yet so Jake's mom was nice enough to let us use her Mickey Mouse one for this year! The same night we put up our tree we decorated the house. Thanks to my aunt who was thinking ahead, we have a few Christmas decorations and that will do! I can't wait to wake up on Christmas morning knowing that I am married to the most wonderful man! It was fun to date through the Christmas season last year but it's even better to be married for Christmas this year. I feel so much gratitude to have Jake in my life especially during the most bright and joyful time of the year.
