This is the best 10 Month picture we could get of Scarlett Morgan and believe it or not it was really hard to get. This little one no longer sits and poses on the couch. I gave up on the sign because she kept tearing it to pieces. Scarlett Morgan had a sick visit this month so we were able to get her stats.

I guess I can plan on her always staying little.
- S loves to give kisses but mostly to Mom and Dad. She knows what we mean when we ask for a kiss. After she kisses us, she sometimes claps and says "yay."
- She has mastered pulling herself up on things and is now cruising around furniture.
- She is bored with all of her "baby toys." I can't get her to play with them for more than 5 minutes. Her favorite thing to do instead is explore and get into trouble. 10 months has been the major baby-proofing age for us.
- Scarlett Morgan uses my name but not very often. When I say my name I mean "ma." She most often clings onto my leg and says "ma"when she is hungry.
- S started this funny thing recently where she bobs her head. Almost like she is nodding "yes." I am not sure what it means or where she got it from but she sure likes doing it!
- I started teaching Scarlett "more" in sign language a little while ago but didn't do it often with her. I recently started working on it with her again and she caught right on.
- Scarlett is learning to feed herself with a fork.
- She has really been enjoying the game of peek a boo this last month.
- S had her very first fair experience. It was really fun to take her and watch her reaction to everything. Surprisingly she was scared of the small chickens in their cage. When we held her up up to them she started crying. As soon as we walked into the room with the huge cows she got really excited and started calling them "doggie's." I guess she is used to her big dog at home.
- One of my favorite things that Scarlett has been up to this last month is leading the music in church. One day I noticed her carefully observing the chorister and then she started waving her hand back and forth. Now she starts waving her arm whenever music comes on.
- I can no longer leave the door open a crack and expect Scarlett to stay in because she has figured out how to pull the door open.
It has been so fun this last month to watch Scarlett discover everything around her. Even if it means more baby proofing for us!
So fun. She is adorable, Jenny!
